Edmingle, the SaaS platform for small and medium-sized training and consulting companies, has raised $1 million in its pre-Series A round led by Indian Angel Network. In addition to IAN, Keiretsu Forum joined the pre-Series A round along with previous investors including SucSEED Innovation Fund and Mumbai Angel Network.
Edmingle plans to use the funds to expand globally, scale its marketing and sales channels, as well as automate its product to help training companies increase sales and retain students globally, the company said in a press release. .
Founded in 2016 by Gaurav Doshi, Prashant Agarwal, and Harshit Sharaff, Edmingle is a SaaS platform for small and medium-sized training and consulting companies to build their branded online training academy, scale their operations, and run their end-to-end business. The fully integrated plug-and-play SaaS platform enables these training companies to create, teach, grow, and manage their course sales, training delivery, and operations.
The Bangalore-based firm claims that more than 700 small and medium training companies and even some edtech companies in various categories have significantly reduced their technology investment and time to market by at least 10 times by using its platform. .
Edmingle competes with Prime Venture Partners-backed Winuall, Tiger Global-backed Classplus and Lightspeed-backed Teachmint.
