Aer Lingus confirms summer flash sale in Europe with flights from just €22

AER Lingus has launched a summer lightning deal with flights available from €22, a confirmed major price change to baggage fees.

Jetsetters can get up to 20 percent off European flights, as well as up to 20 percent off checked luggage all summer long.

The offer is active until midnight on May 3 and is valid for travel between May 1 and August 31.

A spokesperson said: “Return to soak up the sun in Faro or Malaga or enjoy a dazzling city break in Madrid or Venice, along with many more popular European destinations.

“Aer Lingus is here to help you get through the summer with this special offer that runs until midnight on the 3dr May and is valid for travel from May 1St. at 31St. August 2022,

Aer Lingus has a ‘Book with Confidence’ policy that allows customers to change flights as often as they like, should plans change.

Meanwhile, a new scheme offers flights from Ireland to Adelaide from just €10 for 200 lucky applicants.

The dream scheme has been set up to fill the gaps in the Australian workforce.

Irish citizens between the ages of 18 and 35 can register online for €10 return tickets, which go on sale in May.

Applicants must also be Irish or British citizens, hold a working holiday visa and be available to travel by September 30 this year.

Flights are with Qatar Airways, through Trailfinders, and applicants will also need to purchase a “starter package” that includes accommodation on arrival and access to a tax file number and bank account.

Three-night starter packages are priced at €218 with Trailfinders.
