Lottery bosses reveal the Limerick shop where a €250,000 winning ticket was raffled on Saturday 16 April while players were urged to check stubs

LOTTO bosses have revealed the Limerick shop that sold last night’s €250,000 winning ticket.

The lucky bettor is a quarter of a million richer after pocketing last night’s Lotto Plus 2 jackpot.

The winning numbers in last night’s Lotto Plus 2 draw were: 13, 14, 16, 27, 34, 35 and the Bonus was 06.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was sold at the Centra store in the Woodview Shopping Center in Moylish, Old Cratloe Road, on the outskirts of Limerick City.

The winner from Limerick, who now has a ticket valued at €250,000, is advised to sign the back of his ticket and keep it in a safe place.

The winner should contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email and arrangements will be made to claim their prize.

There was no winner of last night’s main jackpot or the €1 million Lotto Plus 1 jackpot.

But Lotto bosses say more than 106,000 players have won prizes in Lotto and Lotto Plus draws.

And 97 people also won €500 each with draw number 9106.

Meanwhile, the National Lottery apologized last week after a technical difficulty caused customers to miss out on their chance to win big.

There have been “a small number of cases” where numbers that are
manually selected have not been included in a ticket when selected
along with the Quick Pick numbers.

The manual selection may not have been entered into the corresponding drawing, which means that customers may not have received the chosen numbers on their tickets.

The issue affects players in stores when using payment receipts to purchase Lotto, EuroMillions and Daily Million tickets with a combination of Quick Pick and Manual panels.

The issue has not affected players who selected their numbers online.

This comes when Ireland’s new millionaire bought his ticket from a Louth shop, Lotto bosses revealed.


The lucky punter is €1 million richer after pocketing last night’s Lotto Plus 1 jackpot.

They have also taken the title of 15th millionaire of the National Lottery of 2022.

The winning numbers for the Lotto Plus 1 draw on Saturday April 9 were: 05, 21, 25, 33, 41, 42 and the bonus was 06.

The Lotto draw saw over 107,000 prizes won nationally across Lotto and Lotto Plus games.

Another lucky player from Longford matched five numbers and the bonus in the main draw to win €195,697.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on Friday, April 8, at Dunnes Stores at Weavers Site on Dublin Road in Longford.

The main draw winning numbers were: 04, 07, 17, 24, 29, 42 and the bonus was 15.

Lottery players in Longford and Louth are urged to check their tickets very carefully.
