PEOPLE PLANNING to travel on Irish Rail this Easter bank holiday weekend are advised that timetables have been revised on all routes, with transfers from buses servicing the lines that have been closed.
From now until Monday, April 18, essential track and overhead line renovation work will take place between Grand Canal Dock and Greystones.
Due to these works, Dart services are suspended between Grand Canal Dock and Greystones. Train tickets are valid on Dublin Bus and GoAhead services to and from affected areas.
Dart services will continue to operate between Malahide/Howth and the Grand Canal Dock.
Services from Dublin to Rosslare Europort are operational, but there will be bus transfers between Connolly Station and Greystones.
Track work is also being carried out at Ennis station in Clare from today until Monday 18 April.
Due to these works, bus transfers are operating between Limerick and Galway for some or all of the respective journeys.
The works on the bridge between Dromod and Boyle mean that passengers traveling from Dublin to intercity Sligo will face the following disruptions:
- 16:00 Connolly to Sligo and 16:55 Sligo to Connolly are canceled
- 17:10 Y 19:15 Connolly to Sligo includes coach transfers between Dromod and Carrick-on-Shannon/Boyle
- 19:05 Sligo to Connolly includes coach transfers between Boyle/Carrick-on-Shannon and Dromod
