Barings expands private financial group APAC

Barings has hired a former Deutsche Bank executive as a managing director at its Asia Pacific private finance group.

Headquartered in Sydney, Hooley is tasked with originating, underwriting and managing private credit investments in APAC developed markets.

He has more than two decades of industry experience, including twelve with Deutsche Bank in Sydney, most recently as head of credit opportunities. Previously, he worked on the acquisition and leverage teams at Merrill Lynch, BOS International and CIBC.
